About the Author of How to Sew Cloth Diapers

Danielle Pientka, Author of "How to Sew, Use, and Clean Cloth Diapers"

As she came to end the of her cloth diapering journey with her first two sons, she realized that other parents- like her- might be wondering “What’s next?” and want to do more to live sustainably.

She published the first edition of the book, The Complete Guide to Using, Laundering, and Sewing Reusable Cloth, in early 2016 when she noticed that the current market focus was solely on cloth diapers and a lot of the information doesn’t extend to other products.

In 2017, she released a second edition of the book, retitled “How to Sew, Use and Clean Cloth Diapers,” which included more information on cloth diaper sewing, as well as all of the original information about making cloth wipes, wet bags, unpaper towels, and more.

Danielle lives in Maryland with her family. She loves creative solutions to every day problems, saving money, and learning new things.
